L.E.A.D. Company is a program recently incorporated by the men of the RC Mission Corps team that reaches out to boys through
the medium of airsoft.
Activities during a typical L.E.A.D. event include Mass, a virtue talk [usually accompanied by movie clips], rigorous exercise, and airsoft. Lots of airsoft. Lunch and a snack are also provided. There will be several L.E.A.D. Mini-Camps [Friday evenings – Sunday afternoons]
that provide an even more enjoyable, fulfilling experience.
Throughout any L.E.A.D. event members will receive constant leadership training. Specifically, L.E.A.D. Company is focused
on three
general aspects, as is noticed in its title:
L.E.A.D.
Leader= Engaging, Attentive, Disciplined
A lack of any one of these three leadership traits will result in failure, to some extent, in any pursuit.
Engaging: |
|
willing to do [it] |
Attentive: |
|
knowing how to do [it] |
Disciplined: |
|
being able to do [it] |
These aspects are reinforced in every activity, whether it be before the altar, in the classroom, or on the battlefield.
By obtaining these
three traits, LEAD Company members will be much further down the path to becoming leaders in today’s
society, to succeeding in
whatever goals they might undertake.

How are these traits formed? As may be guessed by its title, LEAD Company is formed up about the rough concept of an army company in training. Within the airsoft itself, LEAD Company members learn to communicate, rely on teamwork, and practice sincerity [unlike paintball, it is not noticeably apparent when someone is “hit”]. With attendance, accompanying friends, and increasing airsoft skill, members of LEAD Company will achieve a higher rank [from Enlisted to General], unlocking new gear
for their own personal use at the events.
All in all, LEAD Company is about friends working together to become leaders.
Is your son going to LEAD today?
